PCVolumeControl 1.8

PCVolumeControl provides users with the ability to remotely control sound output from various programs on a Windows PC. The software offers key features:

1. Muting and un-muting the master volume of the PC.
2. Muting and un-muting specific programs on the PC.
3. Changing the audio output device on the PC.

This tool was designed primarily for gamers who frequently have full-screen applications running while also listening to background music, with some games having excessively loud sound levels. PCVolumeControl allows users to fine-tune these audio settings efficiently. It operates as a client/server application, with the iOS app serving as the client component.

Upon installation and execution of the server application, port 3000 (default) is opened on the Windows PC, establishing a TCP socket to listen for incoming connections. To connect, users need to launch the PCVolumeControl iOS app, input the IP address of their Windows PC, ensure the port aligns with the server (typically set at 3000 unless specified otherwise), and then click 'Connect'.

Server Requirements:

• Your Windows PC must run Windows 8 or newer with the PCVolumeControl server application installed and operational.
• The Windows PC must permit TCP traffic on port 3000 (default) or any other designated port. Custom ports can be utilized based on requirements.

iOS Requirements:

• The iOS app is compatible with versions 10.0 and above.
